Spray Paint an Old Bench

I bought this old bench almost 8 years ago at Menards for $25 on clearance. It was looking rough however structurely it was fine.

I decided to give this old bench a makeover. I used the spray paint pictured. It cost a little under $4. I used two cans.

I covered the driveway in plastic and put the bench on it and just sprayed away. (In the picture there is a bag of soil under the bench...that was because I poked a hole in the plactic and just used the bag of soil to cover the hole so the spray paint wouldn't get on the driveway). The wood soaked up a lot of the spray paint. Had I wanted the wood not to do that I could have used a spray paint primer first but I still wanted that weathered look. It turned out beautifully.

DIY Faux Louboutin Heels

About 6 months ago I bought a pair of black Christian Louboutin heels. They cost me about $700. I absolutely love them but never want to pay that much for shoes again. I decided to make my own faux Louboutins.

Sunday

DIY Makeup Wipes

Like most women I use makeup wipes daily. I was just so tired of paying $4-$5 for makeup wipes so I decided to make my own. They are super cheap and work great!

All you need is baby oil, tear free baby shampoo, cotton squares (or cotton circles, whichever you prefer), and a mason jar. I used a wide mouth mason jar so it would be easier to get the wipes out.

Mix together 1 cup of water, 2 Tbs of the year free baby shampoo, and 1/4 tsp of baby oil. Fill the mason jar with the cotton squares. Then pour over the mixture. That's it! So easy and inexpensive!!
