DIY Personalized License Plate for Wonderfold Wagon

I am in a couple Wonderfold Wagon groups on Facebook and every time I scroll through the posts I see such neat ideas on how to customize the Wonderfold (WF). 

Just yesterday I saw a post from someone who added a customized license plate. I believe they purchased it online. It was SO CUTE!  I wanted one however I told myself I was going to stop spending money on my WF. I have over $1000 invested in this bad boy and I have a problem buying more and more items for it. 

So laying in bed last night I thought about how I could make my own personalized license plate without spending any money. Since I am a crafter, I tend to have lots of craft supplies on hand so I decided to make my very own personalized license plate for my WF without having to spend any money. 

Here’s how I did it:

I went to the website www.buildasign.com where you can personalize a license plate template. 

After customizing it you can click on a button that says “large proof”. I screenshot the screen of the proof. Then I opened Paint and pasted the screenshot into it. I then cropped the picture of the license plate proof and saved that image. 

Next, I opened Word and insert the image. I made two different size ones. 3x6 and 4x8. 

I printed the images and cut them out with a paper cutter. I used scissors to curve the edges.

Next, I used a box cutter to cut out the four holes. 

I then laminated the license plates and cut them out again using the paper cutter and scissors. 

Using the box cutter again I cut the two top holes. 

I used Velcro zip ties through the two top holes to secure the license plates to the front and back of the WF. 

I love how it turned out!!
