DIY Burlap and Lace Cross

Another easy project here for you.  I recently remodeled my laundry room and this piece made it's way onto a shelf above my washer and dryer (see that post here). 

First I took an old frame I bought at Goodwill.  I painted it white then used sandpaper to distress it so it didn't have that crisp white look but instead had the look of being aged.  I used a roll of burlap and a roll of lace to make a cross around the frame.  Lastly I pinched the middle and use a string from the burlap to tie it.

This is an incredibly easy and cheap project that adds a neat look to any area you are decorating.
