DIY 4 Sided Canopy for Wonderfold Wagon

You may have noticed that several of my recent posts have been about my Wonderfold Wagon. I love my WF. It is by far my favorite purchase ever that I use for my kids. You can see the hacks I use here. 

I have heard a lot of complaints about the canopy that comes with the WF not being very big. I definitely agree with that. The first month I got my WF I made a full canopy but it still didn’t cover the front and back. I then purchased a custom canopy from someone who makes liners and I just didn’t prefer the design so I sold it and decided to make my own.

The original canopy I made had feathers on it to match the liner I had at the time. Recently I purchased a used liner that was originally purchased from the Baby Guy and decided to make a canopy to match it. I found the same fabric at Hobby Lobby. I made a full canopy like I originally did however I added panels to the front and back that snap on. 

I am not very good at sewing nor do I know terms or tricks or even standard hem sizes or whatever. I just winged it and took pictures. Hopefully this helps to give you an idea on how to make your own. 

First I cut a piece of fabric bigger than the front and back openings. 

Then I ironed and sewed the edges. 

I used this snap kit to add snaps to the front and back pieces. 

I used the same color fastener as the color of the part of the fabric that it was going on (see below where I used an orange fastener over an orange area of the fabric).

I like that the front and back pieces snap on and off.  I can put them on as needed and take them off easily.

I can unsnap the top part so that it creates a window so that I can see in while I'm pushing the WF.
