Cover Refrigerator Shelves with Contact Paper
There is not much explanation needed for this post. I simply covered the refrigerator shelves with contact paper so make the refrigerator look nicer.
Use Dollar Tree Baskets to Organize Makeup
My makeup was getting out of hand in the drawers of my vanity so I used Dollar Tree baskets to organize the chaos.
Repurpose iPhone Box
As you may know I acquired a large stock of duct tape from my younger sister. I have started using the duct tape on just about everything I can. I took my old iPhone box and decorated it. I gave it to my daughter and she keeps cute shaped erasers in it.
Upcycle a 6 Bottle Cardboard Holder
Several months ago my little sister gave me her entire duct tape collection to hold and use as needed. This wasn't just 10 rolls of duct tape; she had over 250 rolls of duct tape! So since then I have been using duct tape to decorate everything that I can.
My husband loves pick 6 craft beers and when he gets them I have always wanted to do somethin with the holder. Well I finally have done something with the holder.
I simply used the duct tape and covered the inside first then the outside of the holder. Using scissors I was able to cut the tape so that it was the size I needed.
My daughter put the holder on her desk and filled it with different supplies.
Another simple project that took little time and money to complete.

DIY Boot Tray
When I remodeled my laundry room (see that post here) I knew I wanted a boot tray of some kind to help keep the floors clean. There is a door in the laundry room that leads outside and that door is most often used by the family to go to the backyard so the floor tends to get dirty (it doesn't help that my husband puts his boots in there that he wears while working with our cattle). There is a shoe cabinet in there that we put all of our shoes in but my husbands boots do not fit in there and I did not want to have to clean the floors every time he had dirty boots. The solution...a boot tray.
I bought this tray and these bags of rocks at Dollar General. The tray was $3 and the rocks were $1 a pack. I only bought 4 bags and once I got home I realized that wasn't enough. Luckily I had a bag of extra rocks at home from a different project.
I laid out the rocks the way I wanted them then picked each one up and put hot glue on it so it would stick to the tray.
After the rocks were glued I put the tray in the laundry room.
As you know, I love easy projects that add to my home. This one was simple and now my husband has a place to put his dirty boots and I don't have to clean the floor in the laundry room everyday anymore.
Another thing I love about this project is that even when my husband puts dirty boots on the tray the rocks pretty much hide the dirt. So when he is wearing his boots and I go to laundry I don't have to see a muddy, dirty tray.
DIY Burlap and Lace Cross
Another easy project here for you. I recently remodeled my laundry room and this piece made it's way onto a shelf above my washer and dryer (see that post here).
First I took an old frame I bought at Goodwill. I painted it white then used sandpaper to distress it so it didn't have that crisp white look but instead had the look of being aged. I used a roll of burlap and a roll of lace to make a cross around the frame. Lastly I pinched the middle and use a string from the burlap to tie it.
DIY Lint Holder
This DIY project couldn't get any easier. I recently remodeled my laundry room (see that post here) but didn't have room to put in a small garage can, which I only put lint in so I decided to make a lint holder. I was also on a tight budget I didn't have much money for extras. I made this lint holder box for free with stuff I already had around the house.
I used an empty graham cracker box that I cut to the size I wanted it to be. Then I covered the box in duct tape. Lastly I took a 3M strip and cut it down the center and used each piece to hang two decorative clothes pins on the wall to hold the lint holder.
The clothes pins allow me to take the box down and go dump it. You could just mount it to the wall with a 3M strip but then you can't take it down as easy, unless you use the picture hanging strips that work like Velcro.
