Contact Paper on Stairs

I did this little project in just a couple hours for my boyfriend's parent's house. It added so much character to the stairs. Just cut and stuck contact paper to the stairs backs.

DIY Hanging Fruit Baskets

I saw these baskets at the Dollar Tree for $1 a piece. Picked up three of them. I just took the handles off and weaved it through the bottom of the other basket. Them hung it in my pantry on a hook.

Bathroom Organizing Baskets

Thank you Dollar Tree for these baskets. A set of three is just $1. I used command hooks and put them inside the vanity cabinet in the bathroom. I'm going to use them to hold the kids toothpaste and hair accessories.

Dollar Tree Valentines Wreath

Once again the Dollar Tree provided me with an inexpensive decoration for my home. I made a wreath decorated with hearts. I just cut a square out of a box. Then used a hot glue gun to put the glitter hearts on it. Then added a ribbon. This was fun but I got glitter all over myself.

I attached the wreath to the door by stringing the ribbon over the door to the inside and using a command hook mounted upside down. My old wreath holder won't fit on door of this new house.

Dollar Tree Flower Ball

I had no clue what to call this so I called it a flower ball. I took sphere shaped styrophome, a glass candle stick, and flowers and put this together in about 10 minutes. All the items I got at the Dollar Tree. I used two bouquets of artificial flowers to ensure that no styrophome was showing. So this cost me $4 with left over styrophome for another one. I used a hot glue gun to glue the big sphere to the candlestick. Then I took the buds of the flowers off the stems and just stuck them into the styrophome. A couple flowers needed glued down. I also used the leaves of the bouquet and put them around the bottom of the styrophome. Super easy and very cheap!

Shoe Box Lids Used as Wall Decorations

I had a bunch of shoe box lids that were from my son's shoes that I bought at Payless. They didn't have the size or brand on the lid. They just had a picture so I took a thumb tack and hung them on his wall. Cute. Free. And he actually likes them.
