DIY Designer Vase

I went to my mother's home recently and really liked the look of a couple vases she had in her living room. I figured I'd try to make my own version of them. 

These are the vases I took my inspiration from. 

I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a small square vase and a bag of glass stones. 

I used a hot glue gun to adhere the stones to the vase. I chose to use blue stones to match my decor but I think any color would look great.
