I typed this up for my daughter and thought I would share because I know others have asked. I love this! Thank you for sharing! We are starting a tradition With each child we raise, In hopes that on graduation day Adeline can see the years of endless praise You are her teacher So, there is an empty spot for you, Just open up the bookAnd write a note to her from you. Please sign and dateSo, we can always see, The special teacher she hadThat made her life complete. Please keep this a secret And return it back to me, It will be a bug surprise That she will one day see!
So I’ve done this for years. The challenge came when they hit middle school. I send the note with a checklist of the teachers they’ve had that year. I ask the last one to send me an email and I’ll get it picked up.
