Damask Mixer

I put damask print vinyl on my kitchenaid mixer. Super cute!

Wednesday

Toy Organization

I decided to organize my daughter's toys so I went to the Dollar Tree and bought 30 storage boxes (about the size of a shoe box) and filled them with her toys. I printed out 3 inch logos of each toy and used packaging tape to tape them to the front of the box. Then I put them on the top shelf in her bedroom closet. Now she knows where each type of toy is at any given time. Love it!

Thursday

Colorful Keys

I painted my keys with nail polish. So cute. Just make sure you let it completely dry before painting any subsequent coats.

Saturday

Wallpaper boarder on drawers

I bought this cute wallpaper boarder from Walmart for less than $5 and put it on the drawers in my dressing room.

Wallpaper on the back of cabinet

I put wallpaper on the back of the cabinets in my dressing room. So cute.

Friday

Pinkalicious Giant Cupcake

My daughter loves the Pinkalicious books so I made a giant cupcake for her that looks like the cupcake on the cover of the book.

Yogurt Push Pops

Made Yogurt Push Pops.  Not frozen.  Just put in yogurt, granola, then fruit.  Repeated again.  They not only look cute but were super yummy.  I also made some that had banana nut muffins and whipped cream.

New Vanity

I bought a glass desk several months ago at Walmart on clearance for $10.  I decided to use it as a vanity in my dressing room.  I put magnets on the back or bottom of all my makeup and put all the makeup on the metal rollout keyboard stand.  Now I can see all my makeup through the glass top and roll the stand out without my makeup falling off.  SIMPLE!

Cookie Monster Cupcakes

Last week I made regular size cookie monster cupcakes and I also made a giant cookie monster cupcake.  They turned out so cute.  Made regular cupcakes that had blue coloring added to the frosting.  I frosted them with blue frosting then covered them with blue coconut flakes.  To dye the coconut flakes I put them ina ziplock bag and added several drops of blue food coloring and just shook the bag.  For the eyes I just took white candy melts and flipped them upside down and used black frosting to make the eyeball.  For the mouth, I used a sharp knife and cut the opening on the cupcake and put a cookie in it.  Easy!

Cheeseburger Cupcakes

I made cupcakes that look like cheeseburgers the other day.  Each "cheeseburger" is made up of three different colros of icing and three cupcake tops.  I took two vanilla cupcake tops and used those as buns and used a chocolate cupcake top and used it as the burger patty.  Then I used red frosting to look like ketchup and yellow frosting to look like mustard and green frosting to look like lettuce.  I put real sesame seeds on top to give it that extra authentic look.  The "fries" are sugar cookies that as soon as they came out of the oven I cut them longways and when they cooled they looked like fries.  I dusted them with powdered sugar.  YUMMY!
